He said over and over again that at this park you can ride all you want, eat all you want, and swim all you want. He poured it on describing the loads of fun kids can have at this theme park. Like that little boy, David the psalmist struggled to describe God’s attributes. David stretches his mind to tell about God’s goodness. He looked up into the starry sky and said, “God, your unfailing love is as vast as the heavens; your faithfulness reaches beyond the clouds. David looked at the mountains and said, “Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains.” He peered into the ocean and said, “Your justice is like the ocean depths.” He looked around and noticed how God sustains life on earth and said, “All humanity finds shelter in the shadow of your wings. You feed them from the abundance of your own house, letting them drink from rivers of delight. For You are the fountain of life, the light by which we see.” In another place David expressed His praise of God this way: “I will praise Him from the bottom of my heart: LORD, who can compare with You?” We would do well to join the psalmist in expressing praise to God.
