He was also the father of medicine, chief architect, astronomer, mathematician, scribe, and prime minister to the king. Since his day, many creative people made amazing contributions to the world, yet they all die. And despite all the seeming progress we make, we still fall short in loving God and each other as He desires. It is why God’s people look forward to the day when He will recreate the world. We read in Revelation chapter 21, “The one sitting on the throne said, ‘Look, I am making everything new!’ And then he said to me, ‘Write this down, for what I tell you is trustworthy and true.’ And he also said, ‘It is finished! I am the Alpha and the Omega- the Beginning and the End. To all who are thirsty I will give freely from the springs of the water of life. All who are victorious will inherit all these blessings, and I will be their God, and they will be my children.’” Today God invites all people to come to Him and enjoy all His amazing blessings. Those who ignore His invitation can only anticipate a torturous future, yet all who accept Him will enjoy all the satisfying benefits He offers.
