I urge you to waste no time in making this candidate an offer of employment. Without reservation, I cannot say enough good things about him, nor can I recommend him too highly.” The letter said a lot vaguely without saying anything positive. By contrast, King Darius wrote a letter to recommend Daniel’s God to his entire empire. He wrote it after seeing the amazing way God saved Daniel from the lions. We read this in Daniel chapter 6, “Peace and prosperity to you! I decree that everyone throughout my kingdom should tremble with fear before the God of Daniel. For he is the living God and he will endure forever. His kingdom will never be destroyed, and his rule will never end. He rescues and saves his people; he performs miraculous signs and wonders in the heavens and on earth. He has rescued Daniel from the power of the lions.” After seeing how God saved Daniel from the lions, King Darius had a powerful testimony about God, and he was eager to share it. Today many of us have received salvation and numberless blessings from God. We should be grateful and eagerly share what God has done for us.
