Last night news broke that Dr. Myles Munroe and his wife Ruth were among nine passengers who died in a plane crash as their flight headed into the Grand Bahama Airport. Munroe, the founder of the Bahamas Faith Ministries and Myles Munroe International, was a world-renown speaker, preacher, and the author of 69 books. His books covered topics from spiritual growth and personal development to nurturing romantic relationships and strengthening leadership. Munroe’s ministry touched many in ways that won’t soon be forgotten and a search through some of his work proves that he was a man who practiced what he preached in living a purposeful life. Already, many preachers and ministry leaders have taken to social media to share how much Munroe’s ministry meant to them.

Dr Munroe blessed me by revealing the secrets of the Kingdom. By reason of his interlict, his refusal to compromise his understanding of the word of GOD I was able to gleane the knowledge of the KINGDOM. I came to understand that GOD offered the children of Israel citizenship in his Kingdom which they rejected and created Judaism, Citizenship or religion. Have we made the same mistake. What is the nature of a good King?..A Good Father! Have you ever seen a good Father let his children go hungry, begging for bread? I hear a lot of people say ” it’s not about religion” if that’s true then why Judaism or Christianty? Why not CITIZENSHIP!. It was with shock that I put down these few lines. I’m still wondering why this great man should end up in this tragic manner at this time when the church needs more of his impactful teachings. You practised what You preached. Your books taught me so much about principles, vision, potentials and leadership. You were so great while on earth, Your legacy lives on! First, to the family members of all who transitioned to be with the Lord of Hosts on 11-9-14 along with Dr. Myles & Mrs. Ruth Munroe I send my deepest condolences and heartfelt prayers for the Holy Spirit to comfort you all. He is our Comforter, lean heavenly on Him. I believe all the lives who were touched by Dr. Myles Munroe’s ministry are heavy as mine at his passing the baton so soon, but yet we see the light and founded wisdom from his work. We must carry it on in Jesus name. Dr. Myles teachings saved my child’s life and my marriage for which I am very grateful. Second, I cannot help but wonder if this was planned by those who opposed his teaching and belief. Just think, 3 of the most important leaders of BFM were taken all at once; the day was 11-9, 911 backwards! Think about it. God bless you all.
It is unfortunate that Dr and Mrs Munroe had to die now. We give God the glory the one who knows the best for His children. My sincere condolences to the families of all the lost loved ones in the crash.
It is with heavy heart that I make this comment. I am happy that Dr Munroe told us what purpose in life is and not necessarily how long one lived. it is good however that Dr Munroe will continue to live on.
