Just in time for the holidays, John Stoddart releases his sixth studio album Only On Christmas Day. The multi-talented composer/arranger/pianist/singer/songwriter/producer (whew!) is no stranger to holiday music, having included a song or two on his previous albums, but this is his first all-Christmas music release. Although he’s worked with some seriously talented artists, including Kirk Whalum, Will Downing and Al Jarreau to name a few, it’s always fun to see what he’ll come up with for his own album material. With guest appearances by Whalum, Rick Braun, Sheléa and the ever-magnificent Lalah Hathaway, Only On Christmas Day infuses new life into some of our favorite holiday classics and introduces us to some beautiful new songs as well. Stoddart even brings in his two young daughters to join in on the holiday fun.
