James Bain 110x75James Bain was 19 when he was imprisoned 35 years ago after being wrongly convicted of child rape. On Dec. 17, he was released from prison after DNA evidence cleared him of the crime. Now 54, Bain says God was with him and that he forgives those who locked him up.

He spent more time in prison than any other DNA-exonerated person in this nation. In 1989, Gary Dotson became the first person to have his conviction overturned by DNA evidence.
